Subject: “Certified Commercial Inspector (CCI)” - New Canadian Trademark Application

*Dear Nick:

We received confirmation today from our Canadian trademark agent that your new application to register this mark in Canada has been filed. As we instructed him to do, he claimed priority based on our U.S. application, so your Canadian application will be deemed to have been filed as of the same date as your U.S. application. The Canadian application is also an intent to use application.

If you want applications for this mark filed in other countries, we have six months from the date of the U.S. application to file them and claim the priority filing date. The priority filing applies in almost every country, but there are a few where it doe snot. If there are other countries in which you are interested, please let us know.

The Canadian application will be reviewed by an examiner in due course; however, the Canadian Trademarks Office currently has a delay of about six months from the filing of an application to issuance of the first official action.

We will keep you informed. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Nick.

Thank you Nick!:stuck_out_tongue:

What training would someone have to have to be considered a Certified Commercial Inspector? Is Joes course sufficient or is there other training required.

More good news…it would be nice to know what the quals are for sure.
