I want to add that for those who are considering buying a camera for home inspections that you should research your area a bit first. I can tell you first hand that most agents do not like the idea of thermal imaging cameras for reasons which I’m sure you already know. I recommend that you ask your agents how they feel about it especially if you market to Realtors. You may find yourself losing some business if you don’t ask. If you don’t market to Realtors, you have no concerns.
Food for thought…also research attorneys. I had a difficult time even finding an attorney that would draw up a contract. Be prepared to spend in excess of $2000.00 for a good contract. I have been selling copies of mine for $150.00 if anyone is interested. It will give you a head start and probably save you a ton of money.
