Inspect correction work

I inspected a house and made recommendations like ussual.

My client wants me to return and check on the work that I recommended correcting. Items like: combustion air for water heater and a bad drain pipe leak in the crawlspace.

I told her that she should get the invoices and receipts from the contractors that did the work from the current homeowner so that she has proof of work and warranty.

She doesn’t trust that the work was done correctly and is wanting to pay me to reinspect the few items. I have to look at the roof anyways since it had snow on it when I originally inspected the property…

Any advice out there?

Welcome John, to our forum…enjoy!

Yes, advice, inspect them like you did the first time. It is correct or not correct.
