Why not just use a wallcheck and insert it through an electrical outlet opening, most Labs will give you them for free

Its simply a disposable tube with a hard plastic tip about a 1/4 inch in diameter,that attaches to the spore trap that you insert in the wall through a drilled hole or you can stick it through an electrical outlet opening after removing the cover.

So with the spore trap attached to the tip, if there


is any significant mold builup, I assume the spore


trap will pick it up.?


Is this procedure something a certified mold
inspector would do?

You could use that method for performing a tape lift, then send the sample to a lab for identification. That would tell you what type of mold if any, but not how much or extensive. Doug
