It took over a year and half, but today I finally got the letter from the United States Patent and TradeMark Office that my tag line was granted a trademark.

I am please to announce that

“Inspections That Matter For People Who Care” is now a service mark of IM Home Inspections, INC

Reg No 7,603,848

The mark Consists of standard characters without claim to any particular font style, size, or color.

I’ve had a few people attempt to steal this line from me. Most took it down after being asked nicely. One person still hasn’t (and they’re local to me).

I feel like it should be “from people who care” instead of “for people who care.” Just my 2 cents. Congrats on your trademark!

It depends on who is being referred to…the inspection company or the client.

It’s FOR people who care enough to pay for a quality inspection and not just looking for lowest price guy in town.

If all you care about is a cheap inspection, don’t call us. :wink:

Your idea was not lost on me though. My original 1st draft did add “By people who care” to the end, but it became too much of a mouthful to say, so I dropped that part.
