Is there any particular order to begin and proceed with the coursework? I just need a structured syllabus if it’s available or if anyone can recommend a high-level outline.

Hi Jeremy. NACHI lists the 1st set of courses needed to obtain your certified professional inspector certification. I would just start at the top and work my way down.

There is no particular order you need to follow. However, I found it useful to start with the Standards of Practice course first in order to get an overview of everything the other courses will cover. I also found that the course on moisture intrusion has a high degree of overlap with several sections within other courses. So, if you take that course earlier in the process and master the concepts presented, you will have an easier time with the moisture sections of several other courses.
