Very novel idea.

1: How long does a purposed complainant have after the home has/had been inspected?
2: Can the Issue Resolution system work if/when a complainant entered a litigation phase?

  1. Although some states have a statute of limitations for bringing legal action, anyone can start complaining about anything whenever they want. We’ve had consumers complain about inspections they had a decade ago.
  2. Generally no. It works best as a tool that prevents issues from getting to that point.

Interesting. Do you encourage NACHI members to direct customer complaints to this site?

Something I’ve learned about handling complaints for you guys and gals for 25 years…. consumers want two things:

  1. They want to vent.
  2. They want to hear from a third-party authority.

That’s partly why this system has worked for so many years.
