It is amazing how quickly Americans just relinquish their rights to these “arbiters of truth”. Some common Americans not only passively accept it, many celebrate and ask for more.

This bill was passed in Commiefornia.

Awww… thank you.

The bills definition of misinformation is fairly curios.

  • Misinformation is defined in the legislation as “false information that is contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus contrary to the standard of care.”

So basically ‘science’ is now a voted on to determine accuracy. If you disagree with the ‘consensus’ it is “false information” by these standards regardless of whether or not it is true. More interesting is the fact that the contemporary scientific community is never identified. They will simply be those individuals who agree with the chosen “truth” and subject to change on the whims of the controlling government body (typically un-elected career bureaucrats).

Seems to me wie did this a while back. The Sun revolves around the Earth; the Earth is flat; . . Newton, Galileo. . .Socrates. . .In fact we can do this with any unwanted narrative. Sounds like George Orwell to me.

You are spot on! And they will do it.

Back to the original article. I couldn’t access it but I did find this quote from another source:

agreement prohibits “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “present a risk to user safety or wellbeing” or contain “misinformation.” The policy notes that what counts as misinformation is at PayPal’s “sole discretion.” Violate the policy, and PayPal can deduct $2,500 from the offending user’s account.

And then later retracted policy:

“An AUP notice recently went out in error that included incorrect information,” a PayPal spokesperson said. “PayPal is not fining people for misinformation and this language was never intended to be inserted in our policy.”

One has to wonder…Did PayPal fine themselves?

Haha!

Too bad we cant read the article without subscribing.
I bet paypal lost alot of clients because of this. I know people who closed their accounts after this announcement.

They got caught crossing the line that so many other American oligarchs get away with.

It is not funny when these perpetrators get busted red handed and all they have to do is issue a statement then slink back into the shadows.

Here is an example of a state representative that stated her proposed bill was only intended to “educate the public”. Educate? By removing your child from your home and possible criminal charges? Come on! These people do not believe in America’s principles. This representative immigrated here from Peru with her daughter and now apparently intends on importing her ideology.

“What would you tell your Republican colleagues who say this is criminalizing parents? What would you tell them?” Minock asked Guzman.

“No, it’s not. It’s educating parents because the law tells you the do’s and don’ts,” Guzman answered.

23rd chromosome. XY male, XX female. You can change the appendages all you want but the genetics won’t change.

What about these:

  • 45,X (Turner syndrome)
  • 47,XXX (Trisomy X or Triple X)
  • 48,XXXX (Tetrasomy X)
  • 49,XXXXX (Pentasomy X)

What about them? They are genetic disorders; abnormalities if you will. They are not the norm and there is no statistical information that indicates they make up any portion of the group claiming LGBTQ status. It is simply a straw man argument in an attempt to validate LGBTQ policy.

1 in 2000 babies are born with a sex development disorder. Statistically, that means 15 Nachi members have one of sixty of these diagnosable disorders.

Back to original programming…Limiting free speech is a slippery slope.

That’s misinformation right there! That’s the slippery slope. Lies purported to be truth. The law doesn’t say anything of the kind. It merely prevents educators from indoctrinating students with their preferred ideology and returns them to teaching Reading, Writing and arithmetic.

And what’s wrong with that?? CHILDREN under 10 do not need to know a damn thing about sex. Straight OR gay. Let kids be kids, and learn what they are there to learn about. It is NOT the school’s job to teach about gender studies in elementary!

If someone is genetically a male, female or both then it is not wrong to identify them as such. If someone is genetically a female, then it is not wrong to identify them as female.

So, why is there so much confusion? Oh yeah, the ridiculous are in charge.

Regardless of the content, it is still limiting free speech. Even if it is heinous and inflammatory speech, it goes against the principles of the first amendment for the government to dictate what appropriate speech is. It is not the government’s place to determine what can be said.
For example, we would all be in agreement that no one should read graphically violent literature to young children, but it would be unconstitutional for the government to pass a law banning such speech.

Not at all. We are talking about publicly funded institutions. The employer (literally you and I) are merely requiring the educators (teachers and administrators) to perform the job they were hired for. They were not hired to promote politics or to indoctrinate students with a particular political ideology. LGBTQ is a political organization as is Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA. The present adoption of correct pronouns with penalties for improper use interferes with children’s education and parental rights. Free speech does not allow you to cry “fire” in a crowded theater or threaten someone or espouse your ideology in the workplace contrary to your employer’s wishes. The employer can set reasonable limits to your behavior and speech at the workplace.

Interesting. Culture and community standards sometimes is inconsistent with the constitution or laws.

Our anti-discrimination laws would dictate there are no men’s and women’s bathrooms. Yet, culture supports the distinction. Same with trashy books handed out to school children.

We are engaged in a culture battle which will inherently challenge legalities. Culture will win.
