What about shingle roof against brick side wall. I see a lot of builders doing the continuous L flashing and membrane behind the brick where you see no flashing at all after the build is complete. Is that ok in FL? All of my internachi classes say no and I should see metal flashing on the exterior of the brick with step and counter flashing because the brick is so porous.
