I’m new to the HI business also. I thought good inspectors do 7-8 per week, which adds up to a lot of money if you work alone and you watch overhead. I realize it’s not a get rich easy profession, but in Chicago HI’s get $325-$400 per job inspection.

You can do as many a week that you can handle. You will have to decide how many a week you need to live and maybe adding a few for the slow months. If you can do it with 7 - 8 a week, go for it.
