I found this small hole on a back enclosed porch. Something is telling me there is a problem with the roof.

Well, I thought for a couple of minutes about some smart a$% comment but just couldn’t come up with an adequate one.

However, don't count on the roof until you eliminate other moisture sources such as pluming pipes or condensate drains in the attic.

Jeff,

It actually looks like a garbage compactor back fired? Why would they have put one up there anyway? ![icon_surprised.gif](upload://57CELbNgOav4I8DdysEp4jSUiyx.gif)

Very true....

If there is nothing above it... then its a roofing issue (of course), but if there is another floor above it.... then its very possible a pipe could be leaking or if there is a toilet above, it might need to be reset.... you'd be surprised how such a small leak can cause a lot of damage....
