Since the ChoicePoint hacking incident in February of this year there have been over 90 reported hacking and theft incidents affecting various personal information files, databases, etc. (see http://www.privacyrights.org/ar/ChronDataBreaches.htm ), resulting in over 51.7 million compromised records.

I know!! Unbelievable!!
What is more unbelievable is that personal files are being allowed on laptops, or desktops for that matter. There were a number of "Stolen laptop" and "Stolen Computer" incidents.
