This does not have anything to do with the FCC license for a public network. They have rules they must follow, unlike a private cable network. A public network must follow the rules. If Kimmel were on cable TV, he could come out buck naked, and it would be fine, scary, but he would not get into trouble.
Jimmy Kimmel has not yet reached agreement with Disney & ABC about his return, and he may not being that he has been considering leaving the show soon anyways.
I am completely amazed that anyone that supported the lawfare against DJT would have the audacity to complain about his returning the favor in kind. Especially a Canadian. A Canadian who likely supported the racist Trudeau who used all his power to shut down his political opponents (remember the truckers? we never forgot).
