Job shadowing

Hi all,

I am living in Toronto, Ontario and I am studying in Home inspection program. Now I am done with the studies and ready to go for real life inspection. But I would like to do some job shadowing or field training before. If any one can give me suggestion or provide field training, it would be great and appreciated. Please advice. I have passion to become a good home inspector, but just don’t know how to start!

Hi Harrison, have you looked at Alberta’s requirements for home inspection. 202 educational hrs. If licensing is brought in here this is what you should be aiming for to start. These requirements can be found under inspection courses then look to the right and you will see approved by Alberta…just some advice!
