For those that have never used Keith’s or PV products, I’ll give you an example… finding comments and quickly navigating through components and categories can be less than intuitive in many software programs. I had Keith’s program open the other evening, my wife walked by and noticed it, she asked me about it and to show her how easy it is to find/navigate… I told her to locate and select a dripping shower head for stall shower in a master bathroom and to locate some comments about cracks in the stucco… Less than 10 seconds or so, comments were selected and she was intuitively finding a couple of pics… She doesn’t do reports for me and probably only 2nd or 3rd time she’s worked in an inspection report, period.

Easy to navigate/select and customize.

Tim,
Thanks for posting the link to the sample.
I’m really glad your wife was able to pick it up that easy. That’s always been my main focus with our software…ease of use. Especially since I need to use it, and I’m a well known computer dummy.

Keith
What is the PhD for …Post Hole Diggin"?

That looks very similar to this software that I once used, 7 years ago.

**INSPECTEXPRESS **

Unbelievable.
No wonder you failed as a conspector.

I have a PhD in English, did my dissertation on the modern American poet W.S. Merwin, and taught for about eight years, but heard an alternative definitions of college degrees as follows: BS - Bull****; MS - More ****; PhD - Piled Higher & Deeper.

Roy, your sample report on your website is one of the worst reports I’ve seen in my 12 years in the business.

No wonder you only get $250 for a 2000 sq ft house.

You should get Keith’s software before you’re “Post hole diggin”.

Jeffrey,
You almost gave me a heart attack till I realized you were not referring to our report! I’m glad you Like our reports. They do look great!

Keith,

I’ve been a loyal InspectVue user since July of 2003. Love the product and can’t wait to see what your new software has to offer. I would like to see bookmark features and high resolution picture capability.

Keith,

I do a lot of commercial. We over at NACBI were discussing your software and were waiting for this roll out. Problem is I’ve used HG for over 10 years and have a lot of comments and templates. Anyway to merge or port those over to your software?

Also do you have a easy online demo? Your site still seems incomplete and is hard to navigate. Just looking for an easy online demo so I can sample it. I heard good things and think your software may be a better fit for commercial…

Hi Ray:
Just to let you know my first software “push” was “residential,” which is out there flying under its own power. My second was “Chimney,” which was launched today, and now comes “Commercial,” which should be ready in a week. Having said that all of the dozen libraries that I’ve spent the last five years creating are ready and waiting for the software.
Having said that and after having done commercial inspections myself for many years, my commercial library is probably the largest and best available anywhere at any price, and it’s ready and waiting to stand the test of the market. It has literally thousands of narratives applicable to all current standards, and each and every one can be edited, copied, changed, or deleted, and others can be added with relative ease. Call me if you’d like 818-903-4076. Cheers, Keith.

Jeffrey:
As most people know, I’m an inspector and designed InspectVue to be classically simple and easy to use, and Swift Reporting Software is that and more. See for yourself, and be assured that, unlike InspectVue, my software will continue to evolve and become better and better. Cheers, Keith.

I look forward to what you have to offer.

Keith, give us a working email address please.

Working on it. Miscommunication with host. Very frustrating.

Keith,

Set up a Gmail account. I have never had a server problem with my email. Works all the time I use office@stlhomeinspector.com so no one knows its Gmail.
