Can anyone determine the mfg date of a Kenmore water heater by the serial#? I have HC1413818. Thanks, Bob W

The chart I have found shows about every manufacturer (including Kenmore) and how to determine the date. Kenmore is the only one of more than 100 brand names that does not tell how to determine it. Never realized that. icon_eek.gif

if you have the first three numbers of the model #, I can help you----please post

It is easier to change direction than it is to forget where one has been.

Most Sears and Kenmore water heaters will state the date the warranty expires … and the warranty period.

Count backwards from when the warranty expires if in doubt.

Dan, We must have the same list as mine excluded Kenmore also.

Charles, Unfortunately, I don't have the model number. I always jot down the serial# as most mfg dates are indicated in them.

Jerry, Thanks for that info, I didn't realize the expiration dates were listed.
