I can’t imagine it would seal very well at all. It appears to rely on some sort of sealant described in #2 of this link: http://www.kozykollar.com/Installations/installations.htm

Seen one this weekend Larry on a Flyby Inspection I did for a Bank.
Can’t say how it performs, but seems to be the going thing on new construction.
