If you haven’t already looked into lead paint testing as an ancillary inspection, you might want to. Especially if your state is like Maryland that requires testing for all pre-1978 rental properties. I added it late last year, and it has been a cash cow. First off, the inspections are faster and easier on the body. I can do a 2000 sf house in about an hour, and the going rate is $350. Now, getting set up is a bit of money, since the training was about $750 and the XRF gun was about $18,000.
