I sure would be looking hard to find out what caused those joist to pull away from the nails like that.

You forgot something…“Your gut get too big?”
Looks like they may have been manipulated to the right with a bump from a sledge hammer, to center them for the sheathing fasteners to matchup along the top of the floor joists.

Thanks for the info ya’ll! Its been truly helpful!. If you look higher up in the pics, there is a piece of lumber that prevents the joists ends to fully bear on that ledger strip. The gap was less than 1/16" so if it did move, thats about as far. Regardless a structural engineer was recommended.
