I know, I know…

I have seen various letter folding machines - starting around $30 - seems like the OK ones are around $150 - but I never used one before.

I'd also like a tool that mounts postage stamps - I'm thinking something like a price sticker gun in a store. I have not seen something like that for postage stamps (least I don't think I have)...

I have never seen that, most compaines use a "Postage Meter"

Here is one available for $99.00 and it can be 'refilled' by phone.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the tip. I have been trying to avoid the postage meter - but I do need to shave time/effort from the mailing process.

Is 60 stamps per minute fast enough?

Sorry Bill, I have never heard of such a machine - I thought the wife and I were it. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

Chris bought me a TechKO LF283 and it works great, but not with cheap paper.

Hi Nick,

That looks like a good machine - $178 or so on the internet. Thanks for the tip.

I somehow knew the $29 unit was not what I wanted.

Bill, No I don’t use it. Found it on the internet.

Unfortunatetly, I don’t have enough customers to

require a machine like that. icon_lol.gif

I notice the Office Depot postage meter comes with a monthly charge of $19.75 over and above any postage used.

http://www.stamps.com/learn-more/ will let you print the postage right on the envelope when you print the envelope, give you a postage weight scale, and only charge you $15.99 a month.

Seems there's just no easy frugal method of doing your bulk mailings.

Bob W,

Thanks for the tip on the postage stamp machine - I just ordered one.

General Note - The LF283 and P6200 letter folding machines do not accept glossy paper.
