when doing the continuous training every two years should I do it sooner than later? Or should I wait till its has been almost the full two years . ---

Learning in this business is non-stop. At almost every inspection I did I ran across something new that I had to research to some extent to understand. NACHI has a plethora of CE classes available that are not just to satisfy a state requirement but to improve you as an inspector. ---

Here’s an example for ya… I have been inspecting for over 30 years. Been a member of InterNACHI for almost 20 years. I am gearing up for retirement in the next year or two. I do not have any State Requirements for CE. Internachi has a requirement of 24 CE Hrs per year. I perform/earn CE’s every month, sometimes only a couple, some months, many more. I can always “make time” for my personal education. I make it a monthly task for my business and, as such with Networking, Advertising, Updates to my Report templates and Websites, etc. So far this year, I have completed **130** CE/Hrs total. ![CE 2026](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/internachi/original/4X/5/9/a/59aba3647cfe3ed43b26829314d99909880843f5.jpeg) Why, because I love what I do, I am fully committed with what I do, and I intend to provide the best service possible to my clients regardless of the “bare minimums”.
