Licensing For HI's Has Died

This one did not go through. That is it for the three I knew of.

Well, that’s that.

For now.

Fantastic.

We’ve fought it off since 2002 in Missouri (16 yrs), AND some states have never even had it thrown at them. For example … I don’t remember Iowa, Idaho or Nebraska ever having it come up.

The main reason it died was the bill was introduced by Assemblyman Matt Dababneh.

Matt Dababneh recently resigned due to sexual misconduct allegations.

Dababneh been dabblin’…

I had gotten an email from CREIA recently talking about a future bill for HI, there was a link tohttps://creia.memberclicks.net/legislation seems like the email talked about CREIA is giving input on a future bill? And yes, it looks like the current attempt is dead for now.

I like how CREIA addressed the new pool legislation in their SOP. CREIA Standards of Practice

Tim, I notice that CREIA does not accept NACHI for CE credits. I also notice that it does accept RWS owned Inspector University for CE credits. How do you get your CE for both CREIA and NACHI?

Just slipped it in there.

I got the same email. Asking for donations to hire a lobbyist.

But I noticed it didn’t specifically state what position the lobbyist would take on licensing.
