I am going through my courses and am excited to get into the trade. I’m in the Reno/Tahoe/Carson area but could travel as far as Sacremento or even SF if i can get a ride a long. Been striking out asking inspectors in my area. I’m also open to advice when reaching out to inspectors and asking for ride a longs.

Chase, contact some CMIs or CPIs within 40 to 50 miles, or closer, to your area and communicate with them. Maybe one, or more, will help you. Some inspectors feel as though they are training their competition by ride-alongs or mentoring or hiring.
