MacMillan Bloedel Siding

I found some composite siding literally rotting off of a home, yesterday. After consulting with the builder, I learned that it was manufactured by MacMillan Bloedel manufacturing, which was purchased by Weyerhauser in 1999.

Does anyone know of a class action or other recovery means for an owner of this siding? Weyerhauser has a recovery system in effect for its own siding, but I cannot find anything under this one.

James,

Have you checked with the Consumer Product safety Commission web site www.cpsc.gov for any notices?
