I found some composite siding literally rotting off of a home, yesterday. After consulting with the builder, I learned that it was manufactured by MacMillan Bloedel manufacturing, which was purchased by Weyerhauser in 1999.
Does anyone know of a class action or other recovery means for an owner of this siding? Weyerhauser has a recovery system in effect for its own siding, but I cannot find anything under this one.

The deadline for claims for siding installed between between January 1, 1988 and December 31, 1993 is December 22, 2006. The deadline for claims for siding installed between January 1, 1981 and December 31, 1987 has passed.
