The cold water comes in from the bottom. The main issue with this installation is that by using non vanguard fittings and piping the warrenty is voided.
To quote the rep. “It’s as I suspected, those brass fittings attached to the Manabloc are FPT and the thread on the Manabloc is a mechanical type. Not a good long term match, also the pipe voids the Manabloc’s warranty”
I recommended that a Lic. plumber evaluate it further. With any luck, not the guy who did the installation.
