HICAG worked mostly on correcting the originally-stupid NJ legislation. Now they’re working against any state inspection licensing boards that dare to have board members of one association, but not others. This new work is being done nationwide.

Our former Governor Gray Davis was a big friend of home inspectors and the public but a foe of CREIA/ASHI; smart man. Not sure where Ahnold stands. Fortunately, the chair of the Business and Professions Committee is a friend of home inspectors and the public and has not fallen under the CREIA/ASHI axe yet.
