Misogynists watching a man beat up a woman for entertainment at the Olympics

All of a sudden the lefties can come up with a definition for a woman. Interesting when it’s convenient for them.

Wow you’re actually agreeing with something I’ve said and to think just the other day you called me stupid. :joy:

For anyone interested in the truth about this athlete being born a woman Snopes has a good investigative article which should put this nonsense to rest.

It’s more of a story but it proves nothing. The IOC requires a passport and proof an athlete is not pregnant. (And a couple of other non gender rules. I read the guidelines).

The story that she learned the basics of boxing by dodging the fists of boys sounds fabricated.

There is a strong push to counter the gender narrative. It has certainly become political and now the reporting bias has taken over the story.

I remember a surge of Dominion Republic baseball players lying about their age and falsifying birth certificates.

Anything is possible. I hope the IOC can keep the sport fair.

The whole story regarding this athletes birth gender is a nothingburger, it’s merely yellow journalism propagated by some anti-trans media.

One must infer that this is one of your “legitimate” news sources. I don’t buy that, even the so called “fact checkers” disagree.

Simply because you disagree with something doesn’t make it “yellow Journalism.” You are after all simply stating your opinion regardless of how many supporting articles you post.

He/she was banned from a boxing contest for high levels of testosterone. It is of course convenient for you to dismiss this as some alphabet soup genetic disorder which may or may not exist or be applicable in this instance.

The details regarding that single ban are highly suspect. This is someone who has been a professional boxer for years without any other disqualification from competing as a woman because she was in fact born a woman. The media jumped on the band wagon of this being a trans athlete of which she is not. She was born a woman but some still wouldn’t believe that even if there was a birth video that showed her vagina.

No more suspect than your information. You should really take this up with the IBA, i’m sure they will be pleased to know how suspect they are.

Again that’s not even relevant to the discussion. The title of this thread is “Misogynists watching a man beat up a woman for entertainment at the Olympics”. This boxer is not a man and never was. The issue is was this lazy journalism where no one actually fact checks or yellow journalism where facts don’t matter or a combination of both.

According to your “legitimate news” sources. It is entirely relevant. A high level of testosterone in the absence of intentional drugging leads to a high probability that this individual is a man. The IOC didn’t test and doesn’t care. DNA can also indicate XX or XY chromosomes. Another test that wasn’t done. If you really wanted to be relevant you would be arguing against the misogynist declaration.

OMG that was so funny and a very good idea since Cackling Horizontal Harris supports men in women’s sports!

Putting aside, for the moment, the fact that he has XY chromosomes, has testicles, and is banned from fighting females by the IBA… let’s just look at him for a moment:
