Missouri Alliance of Home Inspectors to Train Realtors in Jefferson City, Missouri

To all TAMHI members…

You will recall that our association, at the same time it is in opposition with the Missouri Association of Realtor’s agenda to control home inspection reports through various legislative efforts — we are warmly assisting the overwhelming majority of professional realtors who do not share that agenda wherever we ethically can.

The best way is to help them to better understand what we do and how what we do benefits them and their client. When we can do this in a manner that provides them with CEUs to apply toward their annual requirements, all the better.

Mark Nahrgang has written a course that he has already presented for CEUs in St. Charles and The Alliance will be sponsoring an educational event in our state capital, Jefferson City, free for realtors throughout the state who can and wish to attend. TAMHI members are invited to attend for free, as well.

The date is pending while the materials are being re-reviewed, but we are shooting for a June or July class date. My understanding is that the course is worth 4 CEUs and discusses Radon.

James Braun is the Project Director for our Realtor Outreach Program and will be releasing the details as they become available.

A big THANKS to Mark for the course and his valuable time! There is not too many inspectors that would time out of the business to do all this. That just shows how great Missouri NACHI inspectors are.

correction… 3 CEU’s, 3 hours.
