Does anyone have any insite on mobil homes? I had a customer ask about needing an anchor sticker put on the house to get everything hooked up. Said she purchased the home a single wide from someone used. I have no idea how to answer or assist.
Joshua, a few additional questions need to be asked/answered.
Who is requesting the sticker and for what to be hooked up?
Did she purchase it off site and relocate it?
Usually, whoever sets the mobile will issue a certificate that the anchors meet HUD/FHA requirements. Whenever these are “lost” or not available, an engineering firm will have to inspect and reissue a certificate.
It could be that the jurisdiction issues a sticker once this information is provided to them. If you want to assist, start with those questions and check with the jurisdiction.

Thank you for the input. From what i gathered the home was relocated and set but not anchored. The home owner purchased their own anchors and are going to install them. The homeowner told me the gr was up that set it was to busy to install anchors and to get the sticker would cost them 2500
Where are located? And you are saying that the contractor who sets it issues the sticker?
Sounds to me like an Engineers Certification will be required.
