Hi I am very new to inspections and had a question from those experienced with mobile homes. I am doing a Wind Mitigation Cert on a 2005 mobile home. This home was re acquired by the original company in 2018 after hurricane Michael, they re commissioned the mobile home with a new roof during this process but there is no roofing permit that I can find. We know the roof was re done with metal after the storm but I have no permit to go off of. What should I do on the wind mit? Thank you in advance for any help.

Next time post these area specific questions in the dedicated **Florida** section!
The majority of member inspectors are not familiar with Florida Insurance Requirements!

Manufactured (or mobile homes depending on age) are not eligible for the Wind Mitigation program (OIR-B1-1802).

So don’t complete the form, it will be kicked back.
