There are 1" gaps between the sections of a modular home I inspected - some sections the gap is at the top and bottom of the wall, some only have the gap at the top of the wall.
There is another gap where 3 pieces come together.
And the roof ridge separates about 1" at one end of one section but comes together about 6 feet into the roof.
And I didn’t see any bolts holding the top of the walls together, or straps holding the ridge/rafters together.
Is this normal on a modular home? I know it wouldn’t be ok on a mobile home, so I don’t think it is OK.
