I was wondering how many of us use moisture meters and gas detectors? I was thinking about buying both and would like some feedback on some brands and models.

Kurt,

Recently I have begun using a Delmhorst pin type moisture meter. It has proved a most useful addition to my tool collection.

My wife can tell when I have gas. No need for a meter.

Best regards,

Thanks for the replies, with the pin type does it leave pin holes in the drywall? what would be your recommendations?

Mike, Ya my wife needs a meter to find out when I don`t have gas, needless to say it wouldn`t be used much.
