Hello, I’m new to mold testing and I wanted to get some feedback on some lab results.
The two areas I tested were the Den and Master Bedroom. Both of these areas had water issues. Water was coming into the den due to some flashing issues and the bedroom had a plumbing leak in the adjoining bathroom that was rotten out joist and subfloor in the crawlspace.
The lab results showed 7 c/m3 of Basidiospores in the Den and 7 c/m3 of Epicoccum in the bedroom. Both of these counts are really low but were not found on the outside sample.
I know the training says since these molds were not found on the outside that we should refer clients to mold remediation experts for further evaluation and repairs but is there anything else i should be thinking about with these results other than just the cookie cutter response?
