False is the correct answer.

Quite a number of you chose the solarium. Why is it that a skylight is less likely to leak? Because it is smaller than a solarium, less windows?

I chose false because reliability is not a condition of what you call it but is very dependent on the quality of the installation.

If the question had been phrased thusly:" A skylight is much more reliable and less likely to leak than a solarium" I also would have opted for false because once again there is no indication of the quality of the installation.

My thinking is that the probability of a leak in a well engineered product is inherent in the installation and not the product itself.

In other, other words neither is more likley leak if installed correctly.

Now if I could just figure out why almost all of them leak.

I answered my own question. It is the installation!

i think it’s mostly because a solarium is a unit attached to the side of the house and not penatrating threw the roof.
