Actually, studying it a little closer… Looks like water intrusion from the roof into the stone wall. Weighting down the insulation with water.

Yes it was. I saw the insualtion before anything else. It was raining so I started inside first.
Pushed on the wall outside and the whole thing moved.
I came back out to re-inspect later and got to see the leftovers of garden mulch in a pile. 
So much for tyvek being a good source of water barrier.
