Hi everybody,

Let me first take this opportunity to thank everybody. I am attaching more pictures. The crack is about 1/8th of an inch at its widest and much less at the bottom.

To answer some of the questions:

1). I have yet to see a builder in Tonronto putting the joists first before backfilling.

2). The crack only showed up AFTER the adjacent lot was dug.

You should resize your pics for dialup users.

Hi Tony,

there are several ways to do this the fastest is, if you are using windows XP you can download an XP add in from thaere powertoys stuff that is a image resizer, works off a mouse right click.

If this won't work for you you can get either Infranview, or Firegraphics as a freedown load, (the later is a trial version)

Regards

Gerry
