I did an inspection on a home yesterday that had an MPI Monitor 441 space heater installed as the primary heating source, with electric baseboard heaters for backup. This is the first time I’ve seen this product on site. I have found some information that shows it was originally designed as a kerosene heater and modifications were made to the heaters to allow furnace/stove oil as the fuel supply. Information on the internet seems to indicate that these heaters are or were used frequently in Maine. I’d appreciate any information that you can provide me about this product. Thanks

Hi Scott,

I see that type of heat alot here in NH.

Check the clearances, the venting, the BTUs, age filters and fuel line.

They work good in a property that has original electric baseboard.

They are a fairly simple unit
