Is there anyway to suppress certain information in a cell? like all numbers or all letters?

For example:
If I have an address entered in a cell (123 Oak Street), is it possible to suppress the numbers so only "Oak Street" will be visible and vice versa?

I don’t think so…but you can just create another column of cells. In one cell column put the number address and in the second column of cells put the letter address.

That’s what I do but when I copy the addresses from the internet, the number is in the same cell as the street name. So I have to do a lot of editing. I’m just looking for a quicker way to edit the info.

Thanks.

Cell C1 = the formula to extract the street name =MID(A1,FIND(" ",TRIM(A1),1)+1,255)

Now you can copy and paste the fomula as many times as needed for the number of address you are doing
