Multiple twisted EGCs but only two terminate

EGCs twisted together but only two terminate at the busbar. Dangerous?

It’s wrong and needs correction

I agree with Michael, a clear NEC violation.

Thanks. I agree it is wrong.

Is it dangerous?

Not in Ohio.

In Ohio you cannot even take the panel cover off. :joy:

I thought that I replied to this earlier, apparently I am mistaken. When I first read your post I created a reply and said “why call it dangerous?”. What we know is that it is a defect and that it should be corrected by a licensed electrical contractor. dangerous or not, it is improper and should be fixed.

On a personal note, I wouldn’t believe it to be “dangerous” but I also wouldn’t let that slide in my own home. Write it up as you choose, but I avoid terms like dangerous, serious, life-threatening etc… I try to be neutral unless it is a serious situation (read live electrical conductor draped from the ceiling. Yes I have walked into this).

If you ever have concerns on site, feel free to reach out and I will do my best to assist you.
