My Hero!

Is it possible to raise the level of invisibility?

No. As far as I can tell, of all the non-member guests on NACHI.TV who were given a free subscription in return for their contributions, only one of those non-members was a non-member due to expulsion. As it became clear that access to NACHI.TV gave subscribers a competitive advantage in the market place, we came to the conclusion that it was wrong for us to permit non-members (who compete with members) to have access to NACHI.TV. and so canceled all non-member accounts, refunded their money, and basically kicked them off of NACHI.TV. We could not do this to non-member guest contributors as access to NACHI.TV was part of their compensation. So to honor NACHI.TV’s agreement with them, we made them invisible student members of InterNACHI which in turn gave them access to NACHI.TV. Joe T was the only person given free invisible student membership (so as to honor NACHI.TV’s previous agreement with him) who was also a previously expelled InterNACHI member. This makes him appear as a member on the message board (as message board access is given to student members to help them learn). Since there is only this one freak incident, and non-members can no longer access NACHI.TV, even if they offer to pay, there is nothing to fix. Spilled milk.

ROTFLMAO

So everything Joe T has to say on the message board going forward, is only a false persumption that he is actually saying it has a memebr?

NACHI.TV is owned by a for-profit company. When InterNACHI agreed to license its content so that it could provide all InterNACHI members free access to NACHI.TV, InterNACHI also demanded exclusive use, so that we could cancel all the non-member’s subscriptions. The only non-member subscriptions we couldn’t cancel were those who were given ongoing access to NACHI.TV as part of their compensation for their guest contribution to NACHI.TV, and that is how we ended up having one previously-expelled person slip between the cracks and end up with an invisible student membership, and thus access to this message board.

INACHI invisible student member Joe Tedesco. The one that slithered through the cracks to get here!

You go Joe!

Note: Several states, the IDEC, and the EPA all require student members to have full access to our message board where they can interact with us and you. We can’t get around that.

So Joe Tedesco is really only a student.

Slime slithers John.

At the very least every student member should be identified as such.

Can’t do that or put up any other deterrent for student members to ask questions and interact with us. Being publicly “outed” as a “student” on every post could imply a lack of experience and could have a negative affect on that student if/when he/she gets a license and goes into business. It certainly would be a deterrent to interact, which we are not permitted to have.

Furthermore, in January, we had a lot of the old-school, veteran ASHI members come over to InterNACHI. They had not fulfilled any of InterNACHI’s membership requirements and InterNACHI doesn’t recognize the NHIE. So we had to make them invisible student members until they get caught up, even though they really aren’t newbies, which is what “student” implies.

It is to YOUR advantage to permit them to contribute to this message board undeterred.

I do not believe that anyone here has any issue with that. We are all willing to help a fellow “Inspector” out… until they turn into a “Tedesco”.

So, with all that you have stated, you have fulfilled your obligation. You are now off the hook.

We, as a membership, don’t have to like it, or abide by it. The Membership as a whole will turn a wrong into a right, in our own way, as usual.

So as a student, we can remove Joe T’s posts through the monitoring of the message board when necessary?

Glad to know he isn’t a real member. It shouldn’t take him too much time to get himself removed from the message board, again.

Correct. Student members do not enjoy unmoderated status like members do, so we are free to delete a student’s posts. Email me if you see something we should wack.

There are basically 4 types of message board contributors:

  • Non-members: Their posts don’t go up until a moderator approves.
  • Student members: Their posts go up instantly, but we can delete them if we want to.
  • Non-members who have been granted unmoderated status: Their posts go up instantly, but we can delete them if we want to.
  • Members: We can’t moderate any of their posts at all unless they are porn or illegal in some way.

Now there is a fifth type…the lowlife scumbag who has the dubious honor of being expelled, twice, for harming other members.

You know that his intent for starting this poll was not to pay tribute to Joe Farsetta…but to invite criticism. It backfired, though, didn’t it?

They’re would be no way for any of us to differentiate that.

His name is on any posts he makes.

Every post made by Tedesco should be “whacked.” Regardless of your “glitch,” I’m sure Chris has the know-how to remove his posting privileges.
