NACHI builds sites/pages for every town in US & Canada

NACHI recently completed another phase of its giant plan to flood the internet with NACHI member lead generators.

This phase included the creation of a separate web page and/or website for every single town and city in the U.S. and Canada (hundreds of thousands!).

You can view the pages (and find yourself within them) by scrolling down http://www.nachi.org/moredomains.htm , clicking any of the many websites, then clicking any of the many towns and cities.

NACHI has a goal of having 100 million web pages (promoting NACHI members) on the internet by 2006.

Nick,

I still say you should do this on a county-wide basis.

Having each town is nice, but many of us inspect in several counties.

I my case, I inspect in three counties: Broward County, Miami-Dade County, and Palm Beach County.

Here's the problem:

Broward County has 29 cities and town.

Miami-Dade County has 59 cities and towns.

Palm Beach County has 35 cities and towns.

That would be 123 cities and towns you would need to list me in, then, you would need to list me in the 3 counties because of the unincorporated areas, for 125 listings.

I appreciate the effort (if we - not just me) are included in each city we serve) but can only imagine that there will be many cities where we are left out of when done city-by-city.

Instead, I would list it like this: You want to look up a city in Florida for an inspector and you get:

- Florida

(click on Florida link)

- Florida
- - don't know the county? Click here 'View all cities and town in Florida'
- - Broward County
- - Miami-Dade County
- - Palm Beach County
- - Monroe County
- - Martin County
- - etc.

('View all cities link is self explanatory)

(click on Broward County link)

- Florida
- - Broward County
- - - List cities in Broward County
- - - List inspectors serving Broward County

(click on 'List cities' link)

- Florida
- - Broward County
- - - List cities in Broward County
- - - - Pembroke Pines
- - - - Ft. Lauderdale
- - - - Parkland
- - - - etc.

(click on Pembroke Pines link)

- Florida
- - Broward County
- - - List cities in Broward County
- - - - Pembroke Pines
- - - - - Inspector Name, Company Name
- - - - - Inspector Name, Company Name
- - - - - Jerry Peck, Inspection services
- - - - - etc.

OR

- Florida
- - Broward County
- - - List cities in Broward County
- - - List inspectors serving Broward County

(click on 'List inspectors' link)

- Florida
- - Broward County
- - - List inspectors serving Broward County
- - - - Inspector Name, Company Name
- - - - Inspector Name, Company Name
- - - - Jerry Peck, Inspection services
- - - - etc.

I think it would make a neater looking list, having the state, county, city, and inspector's names showing.

I've also included an option for anyone who does not know what county they are looking in.

It's not about having 100 million web pages, it's about how practical and useful they are.

Jerry,

I live in an area of metro Detroit where I can drive 20 minutes and be in anyone of five surrounding counties around me. going county by county would exclude me from a lot of territory. that said, I think abigger problem is how our names are listed. is it by a determined mile radius? reason I ask is because there are cities listed that are 8 miles away from me and my name appears near the bottom of the page.

These pages have nothing to do with consumers looking up inspectors. We have www.FindAnInspector.US and www.InspectorSEEK.com for consumers.

They are not meant to be pages found by way I've described above... that method is only for us to find them.

These pages have a much more diabolical purpose... ![icon_twisted.gif](upload://xjO326gspdTNE5QS3UTl0a0Rtvy.gif)

How would that be? You would just list yourself in those counties.

The names should rotating order, i.e., everyone has a chance to be on top and at the bottom of the list. Every click changes the list from the previous showing. If there are 30 people listed, you will be on top every 30th click. SHOULD be that way, but I doubt that it is.
