Hey everyone,
I just wanted to throw this idea out there and see what kind of interest there is. I was thinking another fun, non-inspection event we could hold at the 2006 convention would be a Texas hold 'em tournament. With the growth of this game over the past few year I'd expect there are more than a few members who would be up for playing. Maybe we'd give out $500-1000 in chips to each participant and then have prizes for everyone in the final table. It'd be pretty simple to put together and potentially a whole lotta fun. What do you all think?

Hey Bob,
I thought that Helen mentioned something about bringing a Loonie down, that must have been something different

Yuppers, the "Loonie" Helen was speaking about, was me!

Yup, we like to charge for our best lumber when we send it out of Country. That is why our houses are inferior.

Texas Hold em tournament should be a lot of fun. I am working on all the details and prizes. I have one grand prize that I hope to procure that I think everyone will love.

I don’t know… Playing cards with a bunch of home inspectors… Can you think of any other group of individuals that better personify the term “Poker Face”!

Count me in. I love to play cards. Can’t bring any wooden nickles though. Mr. Bush put a lumber tariff on them and NAFTA got involved. Now our Prime Minister has got involved and we all know where that goes. Very quickly down hill.
