Internachi standards of practice prohibits all inspectors for accepting fees for any repair services to a home that is inspected by the Nachi member.
Therefore, I, as a Nachi member can not and will not offer nor accept fees for any repair services to homes or businesses that I inspect. I will advise my client to seek a qualified contractor’s estimate.
This example is one of many potential ethical violations set forth in Nachi’s Standards of Practice.
