For anyone interested, I am setting up a NACHI Football Fantasy League. The league will be online at NFL.com so it will be easy for anyone to access and participate. The league will have 12 teams, 4 divisions with 3 teams each. The last three weeks of the season will be the playoffs and Super Bowl.
Fees will be $35 to buy your team, $5 a week to field your team, $5 for each player added/dropped after the draft, $5 per player traded, and a few others to be decided by the joining owners, with commisioners approval. These fees are open to discussion by the owners, however the $35 team purchase is not. Also, teams can be owned by more than one person.
While this league is not endorsed by the NACHI Foundation, my thoughts are to give half the year end pool to the foundation, half to the owner who wins the super bowl. As an example, assuming cost to run, team purchase fees, weekly roster fees, and an average of 5 trades/drops/adds per week(likely more), the total winnings after half is donated to the foundation would be close to $800.
So, you serious football fans, Are we ready for some Football??? ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)
If you are interested in joining the league, email me. Only the first twelve can participate in the league. If there are enough for a second twelve team league, I will set up another.
