I’m doing an inspection for a young veteran who said he’s getting a VA loan therefore I expect a VA inspector doing an inspection as well some time later. How does a VA inspection differ? What are they more likely to be concerned about?

VA inspections are done in less than a half hour. More like an appraisal than a home inspection.

My VA inspector was in and out in like 20 minutes. Looked at the roof and a few other big ticket items. Just real quick and real brief.
Base boards and hand rails seem to be on some of their lists
