Dwayne A. Griffin, 42, Coeur d’Alene, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at his home.
Born Oct. 15, 1962, in Saugus, Calif., to Jim C. and Clarice (Cocurek) Griffin, Dwayne went to school in Canyon Country, Calif., and graduated in 1980. He lived in Santa Maria, Calif., for 10 years before moving to Coeur d’Alene.
He met and married Teri Kuenzinger seven years ago. Dwayne was a certified home inspector for the last six years and also was in construction.
He enjoyed hunting, horses and fishing. He was a member of Panhandle Back Country Horsemen, NACHI and Board of Coeur d'Alene Realtors.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Teri Griffin of Coeur d'Alene; son Dalan Griffin, Santa Barbara, Calif.; daughters Hannah and Shelby Cole, both of Coeur d'Alene; father and mother, Jimmy and Clarice Griffin, Coeur d'Alene; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Jan Katzoff, Whitefish, Mont., sister Deborah Griffin, Coeur d'Alene; and niece Brooke Cone, Sonoma, Calif.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel.
The family prefers memorials to the Griffin Family Memorial Fund at Mountain West Bank.
