Dear fellow members;

As one of the newer members I can attest that NACHI pays.

I found some typos and a dead link.

In addition to wanting to help make this a great website, it really

pays to get involved for I was paid for my efforts.

Hi Igor,

I'm from the NY/NJ area. Where is Glen Spey, NY?

As for getting paid for finding errors on the site; it's a way for NACHI to maintain a great site, keep members involved, and when business is slow to provide them with funds for their efforts.

I think it's a great idea. Keeping our membership active and involved is a win, win situation, and should be the goal of every organization.

Igor,

Like you say everyone is entitled to their opinions. As to shooting you, not to worry; I've always took pride in making friends and not enemies.

Spellcheck, grammar, or busted links... what Nick wants is for others like you and I to get involved, period. I will be joining committees as well, after I add to my industrial background knowledge gained from completing the 'Certified Home Inspection' class I signed up for, which ends on 2/4/03.

cheers amigo ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

Igor:

I was appointed to the Board of one of the largest public Sewer Authorities in Pennsylvania. I never heard of the "PA Association of Sewage Enforcement Officials." Are they about public sewage systems or private? Or were you just kidding?

By all of us checking for the smallest mistake, it will make this site the BEST around. I recieved a check today for a small spelling error. But, honestly, I would have rather had Nick keep the money and put it towards further promotion of NACHI.

Guys (and ladies, if there are any) we keep getting stronger and stronger.

Let’s keep up the good work! And thanks for the check, Nick! icon_cool.gif

No matter how you look at it, we are keeping the money in the family. This “family” thinking from all of us is making us stronger all the time. I can’t believe how far we’ve come in just the last 6 months. Chris and I met over the holidays and just shook our heads in amazement of this whole thing. Keep up the good work, and the proof reading. Everyone pushing on the snow ball makes it bigger and roll faster.

Nick

PS Dear FL Chapters, sorry about the "snow ball" analogy.
