Attention All Members,


The NACHI Report Verification System has arrived. In the past NACHI
simply required new members to sign an affidavit of completion of 100
home inspections for full membership. From this day forward, each new
member and each current working member will be required to fill out this
form for Report Verification. All NACHI full members are encouraged to
fill out this form to alleviate the doubt associated with signed
affidavits. NACHI now requires the review of 25 of the 100 inspection
reports for compliance with the NACHI SOP.

This system coupled with our growing education and Continuing education
program, along with our new yearly continuing education requirements of
24 hours will propel NACHI to the head of the class in association
membership requirements. NACHI is now the leader in educational
requirements for association membership.

I think this should go out to all members as a email I do believe many do not look at the BB and then only some sections .

One question.

What about folks in States that have an SOP that they must follow?

Take Texas for instance, don't they have a much stricter guideline that the HI's must follow?

We require substantial compliance. If you are following a State SOP, you will be in substantial compliance. So far all states with licensure have standards close enough to ours to be considered substantially compliant.

It is a password protected site. You must "Log In".

Go back to the link and "Log In".

John, once you log into the members only section, log in to it, go the bottom of the choices, about 10 of them, one of them is report verification system.

I would be happy to provide a zip file or other electronic media of 100 inspection reports however I find it much too time consuming to have to manually enter 100 addresses, zip codes and dates. There must be a better way!

We are always open to suggestions. Submit your ideas to webmaster@nachi.org


Right now it is the only system that we have that is set up to automatically send emails, etc. Besides the report review system randomly selects 25 of your 100 reports for verification.

The beauty of the system is that you can add a little at a time or all at once. You make the decision. For those just beginning they can add each inspection as they are completed.

This system may require a little more work on your end, but a lot less on NACHI's end. Besides it is a one time thing.

No John, it’s a 100 time thing. I’ll have to admit this is not a very high priority for me and maybe I’ll get to it sometime in the future just like all the other folks will. Let me predict…this will not succeed. I wish I did have another suggestion as to how to make it easier to comply but I don’t. That should be something the webmaster should address.
