Do you have specific expertise in any area of inspections or construction.
Example: NACHI member Don Francis has formed NACHI's Advisory Board on insulated concrete forms.
I would like to start gathering any specific expertise for the purpose of setting up advisory boards. Advisory boards can be anything you want: Mold, radon, electric, metal roofing, E&O insurance, etc. The more the merrier!
Email me at nick.gromicko@nachi.org with your ideas and express your willingness to sit on a NACHI advisory board. You need not be a member or an inspector, just know a little more than most about a particular subject, or at least be willing to research it for us. We have some outside national experts in various areas who have volunteered to contribute as well.
Chris is building a key-word search feature to NACHI and I will link appropriate key-words as well as certain terms in our glossaries to message board sections dedicated to these advisory panels.

The Vice President of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors and former ASHI member/trainer Michael Kratky joined NACHI and NACHI’s new Electrical Advisory Board today.
The International Association of Electrical Inspectors are the ones that make the NEC.

Getting this thread on my e-mail. I hopefully will be Licensed through the state of Michigan by the first March for Lead Inspector, and Lead risk assessor. Maybe when that happens I can do that.

Thanks Paul! Great first post. I have received many emails with similar offers in all areas (areas of expertise I never new existed). I am assembling them into advisory panels now and will get those pages up soon.

Joe F,
You have gotta be the most qualified home inspector I know. Just look at all those letter designations at the end of your name! ![icon_cool.gif](upload://oPnLkqdJc33Dyf2uA3TQwRkfhwd.gif)

On a more serious note; Joe F. I agree with Joe M. that is impressive!
Nick has already been informed that I am glad to help out on a board about framing and/or log home construction.
It is great to see other specialists stepping up to help out our wonderful organization.
Thank you very much for your help. We all appreciate it and look forward to putting it to use!
