NACHI Training Materials

Excellent…always great to have the person setting up the event give the scoop on it…thanks tom for clearing that up for everyone.

I would tend to agree with that.

Thank you for clearing up any of the misconceptions that individuals may have had.

Thanks Joe, and I believe I am entitled to an Apology from Paul and Gerry!

Thank you in advance, not looking for any arguments

Joe, like yourself I get sent very many images from members, as was the case with the squirrel picture. I had no clue who had posted it or where or when. As I have stated before if I am aware that you are claiming rights to pictures sent to you by others and posted by you on this or other sites I will be happy to remove them.

For someone “not looking for arguments” you do seem to want to restart this one on a regular basis!

Regards

Gerry

Gerry: Not about the images, I was referring to my comment about Paula’s seminar in Colorado.

My Comment:
Not a NACHI seminar ???

Reading carefullly will avoid the arguments.

This one Gerry is why you owe me an apology!

Joe,

please check who owns that domain and where checks are sent and to who they are payable.

Regards

Gerry

Joe, things are seldom as clear as they appear. I have no intention of spending weeks writing courses to be used for profit by other trainers PERIOD.

I am sorry that I allowed Paul to use one of MY courses in Ohio, as this seems to have created a culture that my own work has somehow become NACHI property, this is not the case.

Regards

Gerry

Joe is one to talk about asking for an apology.
He is one who took a post of mine used it on another BB .
With his added words it was taken completely out of context to make me and other home inspectors look stupid.
I had sent him many things including disks with much infomation and many pictures .
His superior attitude and how he treats many others have made DISREGARD most of his post’s.
I could care less about Joe Tedesco ( He left or was removed one time )
If he had not come back or was to go away again it would not bother me in the least.

Do you both wear PPE when making inspections?

As I can recall you said you didn’t, too bad I hope you are safe and stay safe.

How many inspections have you made last week or month?

Do you check for polarity or use a Shure tester?

What voltages do you come into contact with?

Roy:

Here’s the question I asked on the old NACHI board:

Should Home Inspectors be allowed to inspect electrical systems?

I added nothing Roy!

He is one who took a post of mine used it on another BB .

With his added words it was taken completely out of context to make me and other home inspectors look stupid. You Conviently left out your post’s joe . Shame Shame Shame !

Firstly…I am BOUND to speak on this…

1.) Joe I owe you NO appology for anything…

2.) Gerry, yes you allowed me to use your program but I feel I EARNED the right to use that since It was a last minute thing…I did my part in giving of my time to the online electrical course checking things out…I would say since I did not get paid…allowing me to use the presentation for a chapter meeting was not so bad…since it clearly promoted your name on every slide and in the presentation.

3.) Look…I dont need JACK from NACHI…Joe you may need it…Gerry may need it…I get paid to do it but trust me I dont need the money…I do it because I feel I have something to offer the NACHI guys…but also my time is money and I am getting paid for it…

4.) Teaching electrical issues is simple for me…I dont need anyone to hold my hand…this crap over copyright and images and so on is just plain childish…and ignorant if you ask me…

So…I have my own presentation…went well tonight in Denver,CO and I think the guys learned alot…I had a nice addition to the basics of grounding and bonding and well it is hard to cover it all in 7 hours but we made it through…and it gets better each time…

I see Gerry’s point…but no one is going to tell me I dont pullmy weight or earned the right to speak if asked…or use images…if you have a problem with it JOE…see my attorney…Walter Green in Harrisonburg,VA and he will handle all my issues…because their is none…

The guys like my electrical training because I am not spitting CODE down their neck, I speak to them in a way they can relate and my classes are getting more and more fun for the guys as it goes…thats what it is all about is it not…they need to enjoy the classes?

I am sorry everyone feels so DAMN threatened here at NACHI…kinda a JOKE if you ask me…

Look…I used Gerry’s presentation in OHIO…I dont appologize to ANYONE…and anyone that thinks I should can kiss my…RUMP…

I get paid because of ME…my presentation of the material and to honest with you…it gets better everytime and THATS what the guys are paying for…

OH…and guess what…I DONT talk down to them ONCE…we LEARN !

Whats the BIG DEAL…Joe…make your own electrical inspection presentation for home inspectors and let it go…Gerry…sorry brother you wont get an appology from me for using it…one time deal…I felt i EARNED that right to use it…

Yeah…it lead me through…BUT my verbage is MY verbage…the images are simply the GUIDE…not the speaker…

Paul

You didn’t read the issues I presented here where I wanted an apology, it had to do with the fact that the Denver Seminar was a NACHI event and both you and Gerry said it wasn’t, and that it was cleared up by Tom here, never mind about the images I understand the issue.

Glad to hear about the seminar going well and I am sure everyone was happy to hear what you had to say.

Next time we meet I will buy you a “Long Island Ice Tea”

We all had NO idea what the event was…it started out as Platinum Training…and MID way switched…are we supposed to be PSYCHIC?..we are just the speakers not the organizers…thats a tough enough job…

In the start it was one way and then another…no worries as the main thing is the guys had some training BOUGHT to their doorstep and that is the goal and it was done great and smooth…personally I think TOM most certainly has the “IT” factor to get training to the guys and after meeting him…he is a VERY bright and wonderful and the RIGHT person to set up the events…

Joe, We will most certainly have that Long Island Iced Tea…

On the appology…I would have to say I mislead you and said something knowingly false…At the point before tom clarified it which I thank him for…we ALL learned the facts…so not sure I should appologize for the fact MY knowledge at the time was FACTUAL…

OK, thanks, that’s the Paul I met in OHIO.

You sounded like you were real happy with the class and the way it went in Denver, I can see you now with the “pointer” and discussing the issues.

You have a real good style Paul, and remember that we parted friends, so don’t let me down.

I will post again some materials for all to use, and I will do the same copyrighted or not, we are all in it for the same purpose ELECTRICAL SAFETY.

PS: My new toy is a Toshiba 60GB Video camera, I can take 55 hours of video as LP, or 13 hours of video as DVD. It also has the SD Card slot and that’s with my 2 GB card, so now all of the other toys and cameras are for sale, interested?

I will be developing some and will sneak up on you some day to do an AHJ and Contractor type of discussion, remember that the AHJ is always right!!

I have many posted here and if anyone wants to use my images go for it!

http://www.nachi.org/forum/showpost.php?p=14646&postcount=1

I plan on using some too, unless someone says no, but as we agreed the board pictures are for all to use.
